Has anyone had to undergo a hair follicle drug test for a custody case? How far did it go back?

I have tried to figure out online how far a hair follicle drug screening can go back to detect usage. I seem to be getting multiple answers for this on the internet, some places say 3 months, some say 6 months, so what is it? Please only answer with factual information that you have gathered from your own personal experience, I don't need answers that you got off the internet, I have already thoroughly investigated the internet. THANKS!Has anyone had to undergo a hair follicle drug test for a custody case? How far did it go back?
Drug screening is standard practice in pre-employment assessment, with hair follicle testing being the most common tool. Our company was told, by the medical vendor who conducts drug screening on our behalf, that the test covers 90 days.

Hope that info is helpful.Has anyone had to undergo a hair follicle drug test for a custody case? How far did it go back?
Hair tests actually go back years. The drugs can show in the follicle for about 3-6 months (so what you are reading is semi accurate) depending on the specific drugs being used. However, they can see the drugs you have done for as long as the hair is. If the hair is long enough that it was growing 3 years ago, it could show drug use from 3 years ago.

The problem with hair testing, is that its not completely accurate. They can only make an estimate of when the drug use was, due to differences in hair growth rates from person to person.
i didnt have 1 but i came very close to getting one about 6 years ago and the judge had told me that they would be able to see wut drus i have taken for the last 6 months
