Is there a case to be made for people in high office to regularly have emotional and psychological tests?

There are so many occasions when people weilding considerable power and responsibility find, after a lifetime of faithful service, that the top job is too much for them. In particular, submissive types so often crack when having no one to tell them what to do. Should a regular visit to the psychiatrist and publication to the responsible bodies of an audit of their mental state not be obligatory? Or is being nuts necessary to get to the top?

and many more !!Is there a case to be made for people in high office to regularly have emotional and psychological tests?
I don't know about people in high office but I truly believe that people who are in law enforcement should have to undergo regular emotional and psychological tests. They are the truly dangerous ones.Is there a case to be made for people in high office to regularly have emotional and psychological tests?
Not sure of the saying but i think it goes somthing like

Absolute power corrupts absolutely

So yes i think it would be a good idea
Funny enough i was only thinking this the other day.Like has nobody noticed we are governed by people that act like they should be in an asylum
yea...like my dad who wanted to become a psychologist but instead went to med school always says ';it takes a crazy person to deal with crazy people'; when hes talking about my uncle who is a psychologist
Honesty tests would be more appropriate to most of them
